Several years ago there were a couple of companies (Tapco for one) that advertised the 12 ga inserts for the 26.5mm flare guns. These were intended to be used with 12 ga flares that they also sold. Haven't seen any of those adds in a long time.No, flare guns are not capable of safely shooting shotgun shells and attempting to do so can result in severe injury or death. 3.
