Prusa "Organic Supports" are based on this Tree Support 2.0 Fork for Cura btw. (Prusa adds a bit on top to improve them even further) If you're interested and can't wait or are too annoyed by Cura's default Tree supports, you can try them out over there. What I'm doing to solve it for now is just putting a big brim around the whole model to better anchor the organic support. You can adjust the brim of the support by increasing the "first layer expansion" setting from 3mm to (I use) 7mm.
