CREATING A BASIC WIZARD BUILD Overview. The wizard is an arcane caster focusing on both crowd control and damage dealing magic. The wizard is generally the easier of the two arcane caster classes for a new player to play, as the wizard has more options for self-healing as well as access to bonus feats.That build is obsolete and doesn't reflect the Pale Master changes from last year. That said, the gist of the build still works fine, you simply need to redo Enhancements. Vampire form has more synergies with a melee Eldritch Knight, but that's not a requirement.
