I've found that Armscor 38 Special primers are a little harder than other sorts of ammo. They don't ignite 100% of the time in a few of my revolvers on the first strike while shooting double-action. But this many in a row signals a potentially bad batch. So finally the question... has anyone had problems using Armscor ammo in your pt111 g2? Or even problems with this ammo in other guns? I had several case blowouts with Armscor 22 a couple years back. The first one happened, and I thought it sounded funny, checked the gun, seemed fine. Found case with rim partially separated. Checked all ammo in the mag, reloaded, and continued. After the 3rd time this happened and the rim separated completely from the case, I had to stop.

A madman's stash of roughly 15-18 different brands and velocities that I test with when a new peashooter comes home or helping a friend.
