You can definitely hear it when you are in park and give it some gas. It's not a high pitch squeal.....the sound reminds me of a gear driven motor but not as loud.If there is still noise after the fluid is replaced then most likely you have a bad pump. I replaced the one on my TSX with a Cardone select and all the noise is gone and it was just under $100.
