If you were allowed to use mods while ranking up, then wall buy wonder weapon, fast xp, start with a million points, etc. type maps would be the only custom content on the workshop. Treyarch decided to allow total mod freedom at the cost of not being able to access your progress, which is fine imo.

Seriously, this modpack has given me hours of entertainment, and I've only reached, like, 20% of the weapons this mod provides. The fact that the mod is supported and adds on to ALL of the maps makes me excited to play the BO3 maps again. What's more is that the author is constantly updating and adding to the mod, which is a real sight to see.
