The start was, obviously, very painful, but once you understand the awareness and the ways to prevent it, then it becomes a pretty unique experience. No surprise that it’s hard to get in the Zenith seed. If you’ve got a magma stone you can shimmer that into a lava charm. Or, as you’ve said, fish. You could also farm Hell Bats for a Fire Stone and turn it into a lava charm using shimmer.
