I've had no problem consistently activating limitless takeoff and no problem coring the badge (although coring it on like gold takes a very very long time. I would literally do HOF difficulty on 12 min quarters to get enough exp to core it, which would take around 10 to 15 games in my career only doing limitless dunks every play).
