882 casting heads are 76cc castings. a 3970010 block is a 4" bore block. You have a 350 there. A 305 of that vintage would have 450 casting heads and a 460776, 777, or 778 block. I just scrapped one that was in a 79 Camaro. I have never seen a 3970010 casting block that was anything else that a 4" bore medium journal block.
