Yeah so textures work weirdly in gmod Vmt is a material file which points to the actual texture (vtf) and you can also set the parameters for bump maps, normal maps and glow in the dark textures in there too. Make sure the VMT is named exactly what it was assigned in your 3D software otherwise the game won’t find it.
