October 2022 - last edited October 2022. Same exact issue on PS5. Was already lvl 99, did not want to wait six weeks for a patch so I deleted my Face of the Franchise save and started a new one. To my surprise, my new rookie was already level 99, with no career stats. Hope that helps, because EA and Madden will not.
